1. Diagnostic Fee

Every service call includes a diagnostic fee.

The diagnostic fee is waived if the repair is approved by the homeowner during the appointment.

If no repair is approved, the diagnostic fee remains due.

This fee covers travel, time on site, and full system evaluation.
2. Invoices & Payment

Invoices are emailed immediately after the appointment.

All invoices include a secure payment link.

Accepted payment methods: e-transfer, debit, credit, cash.

Payment is due upon completion, unless a prior written arrangement exists.
3. Customer Responsibilities

Provide safe, clear access to all equipment.

Secure pets and keep children away from the work area.

Provide accurate details about the issue or symptoms.

An adult (18+) must be present during the appointment.
4. Warranty

30-day labour warranty on repairs.

1-year labour warranty on new installations.

Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and equipment.

Customer-supplied parts carry no warranty from Platinum Home Comfort.
5. Cancellations

Notify me as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

If I am already en route or on site, a cancellation fee may apply.
6. Safety & Access

Service may be refused or stopped if conditions are unsafe or equipment is inaccessible.

Hazardous environments void the appointment and may incur fees.
7. No Pressure Sales
