Service Terms Summary

Please review these terms before booking service.

1. Diagnostic Fee

  • Every service call includes a diagnostic fee.

  • The diagnostic fee is waived if the repair is approved by the homeowner during the appointment.

  • If no repair is approved, the diagnostic fee remains due.

  • This fee covers travel, time on site, and full system evaluation.

2. Invoices & Payment

  • Invoices are emailed immediately after the appointment.

  • All invoices include a secure payment link.

  • Accepted payment methods: e-transfer, debit, credit, cash.

  • Payment is due upon completion, unless a prior written arrangement exists.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, clear access to all equipment.

  • Secure pets and keep children away from the work area.

  • Provide accurate details about the issue or symptoms.

  • An adult (18+) must be present during the appointment.

4. Warranty

  • 30-day labour warranty on repairs.

  • 1-year labour warranty on new installations.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and equipment.

  • Customer-supplied parts carry no warranty from Platinum Home Comfort.

5. Cancellations

  • Notify me as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • If I am already en route or on site, a cancellation fee may apply.

6. Safety & Access

  • Service may be refused or stopped if conditions are unsafe or equipment is inaccessible.

  • Hazardous environments void the appointment and may incur fees.

7. No Pressure Sales

  • I provide honest, straightforward recommendations based on system condition.

  • No upselling, no commissions, no surprises.
